8th grade Math

Welcome back from Fall Break!  We will be finishing out Chapter 7 for the next few weeks.  Upcoming events: Quiz Friday October 22 over sections 7.2-7.5.

Benchmark exam will be Friday October 8th.

We are currently working on the first part of  Chapter 5.  We will have a quiz on Tuesday Sept 28th.  Then we will be jumping around  a little to ensure that all of the standard are addressed.

We are still working on Chapter 4 this week.  Next test should be Tuesday Sept. 21st.  Remember that conferences are this Tuesday Sept. 14th and there is no school on Friday Sept. 17th.  If you have questions please email me.

Midterms went home on Wednesday Sept. 8th.  Please sign and return them.  Parent- Teacher conferences are Sept. 14th if you would like to schedule a conference call 232-2192 and Lisa Deel will help you with those.

We are in the middle of Chapter 4 and will be having a quiz on Thursday Sept 9th.

Our workbooks are finally here.  Please make sure that students are completing homework in the workbook and they are bring the workbook to class everyday.

Now we are in the middle of solving equations in Chapter 3.  We will test these skills next Wednesday Sept 1st, then begin Chapter 4 Factors, Fractions and Exponents.

We are completing our review of chapters 1 and 2.  Chapter 2 test on Friday Aug. 20th.  Next week we will begin solving equations in Chapter 3.  Quiz on Thursday Aug. 26th.
