8th grade Algebra 1

I hope every one enjoyed Fall Break but now we are getting back to work.  We will begin with Chapter 6 (Inequalities) for the next few weeks.  Quiz on Thursday over sections 6.1-6.3.

We are now finished with chapter 5 and will be working to review for the exam  Thursday October 7th and the Benchmark  Friday October 8th.

We are still working through chapter 5.  Next Test Wednesday Sept 29th.

We are beginning chapter 5 and slope.  We will have a short quiz on Thursday.  Remember conferences this week on Tuesday and no school on Friday.   If you have questions please email me.

Midterms went home on Wednesday Sept. 8th.  Please sign and return them to school.  Parent teacher conference day is Tuesday Sept. 14th if you would like to schedule a conference call 232-2192 and Lisa Deel will help you schedule a conference.

We are finishing up Chapter 4 and our test will be Friday Sept. 10th.

Next we will begin working on Chapter 4 Graphing Relations and Linear Functions.  Quiz on Thursday Sept 2nd. (Quiz was moved to Friday Sept 3rd)

We have completed a short review of the first two chapters.  Now we are solving equations in Chapter 3.   Next test: Chapter 3 Friday Aug. 27th.
